Sometimes we find ourselves stuck in patterns we cannot seem to change. We may feel disconnected from the people we love, unsure who we are becoming, or wonder how past experiences still shape our lives today. I believe therapy can provide a space to slow down, notice those patterns, and begin finding a different way forward.
I work with couples and adults navigating relationship concerns, family conflict, life transitions, identity, and questions of faith and spirituality. I am especially passionate about helping couples who feel disconnected or caught in repetitive cycles of conflict. I also work with individuals who want to better see how past experiences and relationships continue to influence how they view themselves and relate to others.
My background includes many years of working with families in ministry settings. That experience has made me comfortable exploring questions of faith and spirituality when they are important to a client. I also work with individuals who have experienced religious hurt or trauma and want a place to examine their experiences and beliefs without judgment or pressure.
Ultimately, I see therapy as a place where you do not have to edit your story before bringing it into the room. We can start with where you actually are, consider what has shaped you, and work toward healthier relationships with yourself and the people who matter most to you.
